PA Announcer and DJ: Lance Gilmour
A svelte (in his own words) 6'1" Sagittarian 29 year old(???) Lance has been responsible for the eclectic music played at Firhill over the past 6 years.
Since the start of 2005/6, Lance has also taken on the mantle of PA announcer, although those with a keen ear will have observed the difficulties he has whilst trying to press buttons and talk at the same time.
As the person solely responsible for all music selected at Firhill, Lance introduced the enormously popular "Banana Splits" runout theme - a big hit with Jags fans everywhere, especially on internet forums.
When asked about the highlights of this job, Lance was quick to reply "Spending most games standing with the iconic John Lambie & Jessie from the bar. It is at times like this - listening to a real expert - that you realise how little you know about football. That's what John & I say anyway".
A lifelong Jags fan, Lance has been quoted as saying "Thistle are the only club I've ever wanted to announce for" in response to reports that he had signed a pre-contract with an un-named SPL side.
