Policy into Practice
These policies are available for downloading in either Adobe PDF or MS Word format by clicking on the relevant links below.
ur club has a tradition of welcoming all, and excluding none, and that has been developed in the Anti-discrimination Policy (PDF MS Word) approved by the Board at their meeting on 28 March 2003.
Conscious of the need to take all possible steps to ensure the Safety of Children and Vulnerable Adults (PDF MS Word), engaged in activities mounted by the club, Partick Thistle has also developed comprehensive policies and a code of practice to address these issues.
The Club's draft policy on Disability Discrimination (PDF MS Word) is also available on-line and remains under review.
A Customers/Supporters Charter (PDF MS Word) has been created giving guarantees to supporters on a wide range of issues ranging from the life-time of strips to consultation, accessibility etc.
Finally, The Club has identified a need for further refinement of the way in which it engages with fellow supporters to take cognisance of, for example, developments in information and communication technology. More traditional methods of communication will, of course, be retained and developed as will the trend of having meetings with supporters. This addition to terms of The Customers/Supporters Charter - the Engagement with Supporters paper (as amended 071007) (PDF MS Word) - has the endorsement of the Board of The Club and is part of its portfolio of charters/policies all of which are available to be downloaded from ptfc.co.uk or in hard copy from the Secretary on receipt of an A4 stamped addressed envelope.
The Club welcomes comment or constructive criticism on the policies.
