Partick Thistle are delighted to announce a brand new "Player of the Month Award" to be chosen by the fans.
The award is sponsored by McCrea Financial Services and every month each and every supporter can vote on here on ptfc.co.uk
Douglas McCrea, Managing Director said "McCreas' are delighted to sponsor the Player of the Month and Player of the Year Awards for the 2011/2012 season.
This is a new and exciting way for the fans to connect with the players and hopefully it will spur them on to have a great season.
Each month the winning player will receive a trophy, while one of the supporters who has voted will be given the opportunity to present the award"
McCrea Financial Services are longstanding supporters of Partick Thistle Football Club and manager Jackie McNamara thinks this new scheme will be a great incentive for the players:
"Players all want to think of themselves as fans favourites and I'm sure the chance of being voted McCrea Financial Services Player of the Month will lead to good performances and now doubt some dressing room rivalry."
