Partick Thistle Football Club

 Match Preview

Tomorrow Thistle take to the road for one last time in season 2009/2010 when we travel to Dingwall to face a Ross County side that have a Scottish Cup Final date to look forward to in the middle of next month.

Thistle make the trip to Victoria Park tomorrow with an unbeaten record against County this season to defend. Two of the three previous meetings between the two sides ended in draws (0-0 at Firhill and 2-2 at Victoria Park) with Thistle the only side to record a victory, winning 2-1 at Firhill in February.

If Thistle are to maintain their unbeaten record against Ross County this season then they will need to do so with a number of key players not making the trip as manager Ian McCall revealed to www.ptfc.co.uk .

"Alan Archibald and Liam Buchanan will obviously not make the trip to Dingwall tomorrow but neither will Paul Paton and Paul Cairney. Paul Paton has a problem with his arm and if truth be told he probably shouldn't have played against Raith Rovers on Monday night. Paul Cairney is unwell but he hasn't been fully fit in recent weeks in any case."

"Jonny Tuffey will also not make the trip north. This will give Bryn Halliwell another chance in goal before Jonny returns for the final game of the season against Queen of the South. Craig Hinchcliffe will be our substitute goalkeeper on Saturday although young Ryan Scully may also make the trip."

"The three under 19s, Ross McGeough, Kieran Burns and Ryan MacBeth, that finished Monday's night game with Raith Rovers will be part of the squad for tomorrow's fixture and it could be that another couple may be part of our travelling party."

Please note we will not be able to provide any updates direct from Victoria Park tomorrow. We will, however, have news and reaction just as quickly as we can following full-time.
