Match Highlights

"It has been particularly pleasing to read all the positive comment about the return of the match highlights. The club has received a number of emails from expats and from fans living too far from Firhill to see the games first hand none of which have been negative in their content and many of which have contained constructive suggestions.

It is our intention to offer a subscription based service in time for season 2009/10 and a working party was formed a number of months ago to focus on the technical issues, content and format. One element outwith our control is that we are only permitted by the SFL to show 3 minutes of match action so we are restricted to mainly goalmouth incidents and not much else.

Regarding the recent screening of match highlights the vast bulk of the credit must go to Fraser Murray, Lance Gilmour and Tommy Dunnett who have worked extremely hard on the technical issues with the result that the quality of the product is attracting praise."

Centenary Fund

"The Centenary Fund has really caught the imagination of the fans with in excess of 600 memberships taken up at different levels. It has to be remembered however that around 300 Bronze members transferred in from the old Lotto and special thanks must go to Bobby Briggs for his efforts in retaining the support of the Victoria Bar in Partick and the Cameronian Club members who together account for nearly 125 Bronze memberships.

The gross recurring revenue is now close to £65000 and with costs in the region of £20000 per annum including prizes the fund will contribute around £45000 to the club over the next 12 months.

As a result of the support of the Jags Trust and taking into account the number of Centenary Fund members who nominated them to receive shares I anticipate that the club will be in a position to issue them with shares to the value of nearly £20000 at the end of the first year of operation."
