It was a bitterly disappointing afternoon for Thistle. On a day of such importance Thistle simply didn’t perform and Queen’s were well worth their win.
Stephen Dobbie opened the scoring in the 12th minute with Steven Tosh adding a second in the 53rd minute with what was his first touch after coming on as a substitute.
