Thistle had to settle for a point at Dens Park despite producing a second half performance that was perhaps worthy of all three.
The first half had been a largely disappointing affair but things livened up after the break. Dundee's goalkeeper Robert Douglas was voted as the Match Sponsor's Man of the Match and a superb double save around the hour mark that first denied Gary Harkins and then Mark Roberts proving crucial.
