There were nerves aplenty as Livingston were able to reduce a 3-0 Thistle lead to 3-2.
Thistle led 2-0 at the break. A Gary Harkins penalty a defelcted Paul Paton shot had Thistle in control.
A screamer from David Rowson two minutes after half-time looked to have secured the points only for Leigh Griffiths to score twice.
A fantastic Gary Harkins free kick right on full-time finally settled the issue in Thistle's favour.
