Partick Thistle 0, St Johnstone 0
Saturday 17th January 2009
It was an entertaining game at a wet and wild Firhill this afternoon but ultimately a goalless one as Thistle failed to close the gap on league leaders St Johnstone.
St Johnstone had the benefit of the elements in the first half and the bulk of the pressure. Jonny Tuffey producing a fine save to deny Paul Sheerin.
It was Thistle's turn to enjoy the benefit of the strong wind and rain after the break and Simon Donnelly missed a marvellous chance to win the game only to see his shot headed off the line by Liam Craig.
