Youth Results and Fixtures

It was a bad day all round for the Thistle youth teams yesterday with both the under 17s and under 19s suffering defeats in their respective League Cup campaigns.
The under 17s were the first to suffer defeat losing their morning encounter with Queen's Park by a single goal to nil. Their next fixture is an encounter next Sunday (April 5th) with Morton at Beith Juniors. Kick-off for that fixture is 1pm.
The under 19s meantime lost out by the odd goal in five against Dumbarton. Things started brightly for the young Thistle side with Scott Tully opening the scoring. Dumbarton though fought back to take a 2-1 lead only for Tully's second goal of the afternoon to once more tie the scores. A late Dumbarton winner, however, meant a pointless afternoon for Thistle.
The under 19s are also in action next Sunday when they entertain East Stirlingshire at McKenna Park with a 2pm kick-off.
