Donation from the Centenary Fund
Tuesday 5th May 2009
I am delighted to report that at last Saturday's match against Airdrie the Centenary Fund handed over a cheque for £15000 to the Club.
The cheque which was handed over to Club Chairman Allan Cowan by Tom Hosie, a Jags Trust board member on behalf of the fund is the highest single donation made to the club by any fund-raising activity since the "Save the Jags" campaign of the late 90's.
This money has been raised by the Centenary Fund in 3 months and it is hoped that similar amounts will be passed across to the Club on an ongoing basis every three to four months from now on.
Membership of the fund is still growing and if you haven't already joined please complete the ‘Sign up and Standing Order Form' which you can download from the Club website and return it to the Club as soon as possible. Alternatively you can contact the Club and we will send a form out in the post.
A big ‘Thank You' to all those who have signed up so far and made the presentation of this cheque possible.
