New Signings

Partick Thistle last night completed the signing of 6 new YT Modern Apprentices, who will come in full-time starting on 22nd June 2009.
The following have stepped up from last season's very impressive Under-17 side, managed by Ian Cameron, who will now step-up to coach the Under-19s:-
Graeme Shepherd - goalkeeper
Stuart Bannigan - midfielder
Jamie Campbell - midfielder
Kieran Burns - forward
Colin Stevenson - defender
Kyle Lochhead - defender
Manager, Ian McCall, said "Ian Cameron speaks very highly of the boys, and I have high hopes for them. I didn't watch them as much as the Under-19s last season, but I was very impressed when I did catch them."
Ian Cameron added "The six that are coming in full-time have worked really hard to have this opportunity, and fully deserve it. I obviously worked very closely with them last season at Under-17 level and the continuity can only help when I also move up to the Under-19s next term. Both Jamie and Stuart featured in a couple of reserve matches and came in full-time over the Christmas and Easter break, along with the other four, so they have a feeling of what lies ahead for them."
