Archibald makes his Return

Earlier today Alan Archibald made the first few tentative steps back playing.
In a low key close door friendly match with Motherwell at Bellshill Juniors Alan played the entire second half.
We are pleased to report that Alan came through his first 45 minutes of action since a 0-0 Firhill draw with St Johnstone on March 22nd without any problems.
There was good news elsewhere as well as Thistle ran out 2-1 winners.
Thistle opened the scoring when a Trialist converted a cross from Ryan MacBeth, himself making a return from a period out injured.
With time running out, however, the score stood tied at 1-1 only for Mark Roberts, recently on the injured list himself, to pop up and score Thistle’s winner.
