The Under-19s were knocked out cruelly at Central Park yesterday, when it came down to penalties.
Cowdenbeath had taken the lead in the first half, before Paul McGuire levelled for the Jags after good play from Scott Tully and Under-17 star,Kieran Burns.
It was still deadlock as we headed into extra time, and into penalties - Callum Sellars, Kieran Burns and Scott Tully converted theirs while Michael Robertson and Kieran Coyle had the unfortunate misses.
Back to League duty this weekend as the 19s take on Dumbarton away from home, while the 17s make the short journey to the new astro turf at Alloa, more details to follow.
