Stenhousemuir Reserves 0, Partick Thistle Reserves 3

The Thistle reserve team enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 win over Stenhousemuir on the plastic pitch at Ochilview this evening.
All the damage was done in the first half and it was pleasing to see two strikers among the goals. Damon Gray got the ball rolling in the 12th minutes before Stevie Lennon got in on the act with two goals of his own, the first after 35 minutes and the second 5 minutes later. In general both Gray and Lennon impressed with their running and work up front.
Equally impressive was the first half performance from young Jamie Campbell making the set up from the under 17s. Jamie was replaced at the break by his under 17 teammate Stuart Bannigan and he too performed to a level beyond his years. Further testimony to the hard work of under 17 coach Ian Cameron.
