Despite Thistle not being at their best Firhill's biggest crowd of the season of 3,368 still saw The Jags collect three points with a narrow 2-1 win over Morton.
Thistle took the lead in the 36th minute when Gary Harkins headed home a Mark Roberts cross.
The scores were level though at half-time, Ian Russell scoring in the 43rd minute.
The game's winning goal arrived in the 66th minute when Ian Maxwell was able to bundle the bal home from close range following a Stephen McKeown corner.
