Glasgow Cup Defeat for Thistle

A little earlier tonight Thistle's interest in the Glasgow Cup ended when they went down to a 5-0 defeat against Celtic at Lennoxtown.
Given that Thistle finished the match with ten men and where up against a full-time under 17 Celtic side while we fielded essentially an under 16 side the score line belies what was actually a good performance from the young Thistle side, a performance that offered encouragement to the watching coaching staff.
