There was more misery for Thistle this afternoon as they went down to a 1-0 defeat to relegation haunted Ayr United.
It was a serious case of déjà vu with Thistle missing countless excellent chances to score but missing the lot.
With 12 minutes remaining Ayr sub McKay showed how it should be down with a superb curling shot.
