Co-Operative Insurance Cup Draw

The draw for the Second Round of the Co-Operative Insurance Cup was made at around 12:30pm.
The draw, made by Scotland manager George Burley, has paired Thistle at home against fellow First Division side Queen of the South.
The tie is scheduled to take place on either Tuesday August 25th or Wednesday August 26th. No date has been confirmed as yet but the Tuesday would seem to be the most likely date.
Although Thistle and Queens have met regularly on league business this will be the first League Cup tie between the two teams since August 1970.
