Liverpool’s confirmed squad for the Partick Thistle V Liverpool match. Tuesday 11 August 7.45 k/o. £10 adults, £5kids.
DEAN BOUZANIS – Goalkeeper Dean was born in Australia but has a Greek mother and has
represented both Greece and Australia at youth level and doesn¹t have to
make a final decision on which country to represent until he is 21 which is
still over 2 years away.
STEVEN IRWIN Eighteen year old Irwin is equally as comfortable in midfield as he is
playing at the back. Was a substitute in the Liverpool¹s 2006 FA Youth Cup
final win against Manchester United. Has progressed for the Liverpool youth
side to the Liverpool reserve team.
CHRYS MAVINGA The French under 18 international joined Liverpool during the summer from
Paris St Germain. Although Chris hadn¹t featured in the PSG first eleven he
is a highly rated young player with Liverpool having to beat off the
interest of a number of other prominent clubs to acquire his signature.
STEPHEN DARBY Right back Darby has progressed through the Youth ranks at Liverpool,
spending ten years as part of the Liverpool Academy. Stephen captained the
Liverpool side that won the FA Youth Cup in both 2006 and 2007 and made his
first team debut against Tottenham Hotspur in the Carling Cup last season.
ROBBIE THRELFALL Capped by England at under 19 level defender Threlfall has gained invaluable
first team experience during loan spells with Hereford United and Stockport
County.
EMMANUEL GOMIS MENDY The Spanish defender can play at both right back and at left back. Was
signed on a three year contract last summer

NATHAN ECCLESTON Much is expected of this 18 year old England Youth International striker.
Has been scoring for the youth and reserve teams at Liverpool since arriving
at the club in season 2007-2008
ANDRAS SIMON Hungarian striker Simon joined Liverpool from MTK Hungaria in the summer of
2007. Represented Hungary in the 2006 Under 17 Championships.
GERARDO BRUNA An attacking midfielder who spent 5 years with Real Madrid before moving to
Liverpool in the summer of 2007
JORDY BROUWER Striker Brouwer joined Liverpool from Ajax in January 2007 and in his first
few months at Anfield helped the Liverpool reserve team to the reserve
title. Spent much of last season on loan with Dutch side RKC Waalwijk.
NIKOLA SARIC This is Nikola¹s second season at Liverpool and will be hoping to make a
bigger impact this season after his first season was marred by injury. A
striker Saric has been capped by Denmark, although he was born in Bosnia, at
under 16, under 17 and under 18 level.
VITOR FLORA The Brazilian striker, who holds an Italian passport, joined Liverpool this
time last year. Previously with Botafogo
RYAN CROWTHER This season will be Ryan¹s third season as a Liverpool player having been

tt>signed from Stockport County in August 2007. Made a couple of first team
appearances for Stockport including one, at the age of just 17, as captain.
VINCENT WEIJL A midfielder, Vincent has now been at Liverpool for just over a year after
being signed from AZ Alkmaar, where he had been for 4 years, last July.
