Partick Thistle Football Club

This was not a game to linger long in the memory with the talking point the number of cards that referee Crawford Allan choose to show.

There were red cards for County's Gary Miller (34 minutes) and Thistle's Stephen McKeown (55 minutes) plus no fewer than 8 yellow cards.

Chances were few and far between. An Ian Maxwell effort that was deflected over the bar and a Jim Hamilton shot that McGovern saved were the best for Thistle.

Ross County meantime were more content to keep men behind the ball rather than win the game which made for a frustrating afternoon.
