88 mins: Lovell gets clear of the home defence once more but this time gets his finish all wrong.

86 mins: Thistle corner. Someone, I can't make out the numbers, takes itbut it is cleared.

80 mins: With Thistle appealing for offside Paul Keegan heads over an empty Thistle goal fom inside the six yard box.

78 mins: Airdrie aren't giving up and it takes a great block from Alan Archibald to deny Baird a chance.

77 mins: Bryan Hodge comes on for Stephen McKeown.

76 mins: A fine block from Jonny Tuffey denies Scott Gemmill and keeps Thistle's three goal lead intact.

70 mins: Airdrie's John Baird is booked.

67 mins: And we nearly have a sixth but Robertson makes an another fine stop.

66 mins: GOAL THISTLE. It's five for Thistle. Chris Erskine collects a poor clearance from Robertson. Donnelly then sets up Paul Cairney who rolls the ball into the net. "We want Six" is the cry from the Thistle fans.

62 mins: More skill from Chris Erskine nearly ptoduces a fifth Thistle goal. This time his shot is blocked by the legs of Robertson.

59 mins: Chris Erskine turns inside the box before drilling a shot right across the face of the Airdrie goal.

57: Nearly a hat-trick for Lovell. Paul Cairney sets him up but Robertson pushes his shot onto the post.

56 mins: Jamie Adams is booked.

55 mins: GOAL THISTLE. The two goal lead is restored. Lovell is again played in and once more doesn't look like missing and doesn't with a controlled finish.

55 mins: Chris Erskine for Mark Corcoran who took a knock just before Airdrie's second goal.

51 mins: GOAL AIRDRIE. A corner is flicked on and although Tuffey makes an excellent save the ball breaks to Baird and he lifts the ball high into the net.

46 mins: GOAL THISTLE Through ball to Steve Lovell and he makes no mistake with a confident finish.

Few technical problems here in Airdrie. IS there a worse time to lose an internet connection than just after a Thistle goal? Thistle have done well to come from behind but there is much hard work to be done before the points are secured. Airdrie have been a threat all first half.

Correction to the second Thistle scorer. Stephen McKeown is the man to have fired Thistle ahead on the stroke of half-time.

45 mins: GOAL THISTLE. A neat interchange of passes leaves, I think, Mark Corcoran with just Robertson to beat which he does with ease.

44 mins: Paul Paton tries his luck from the edge of the box but his shot is always drifting wide.

43 mins: Tuffey is well placed to save a Baird shot.

42 mins: A Paul Cairney shot isn't too far off target. A motionless Robertson is happy to see it flash wide.

38 mins: John Baird just fails to make contact with a Trouten pass. Good spell for Airdrie.

35 mins: Lagana strikes the base of Jonny Tuffey's left hand post.

34 mins: A Paton cross is too high for Mark Corcoran at the back post.

31 mins: Airdrie corner. Tuffey tips it away before the offside flag goes up.

30 mins: David Rowson stings the hands of Robertson in the Airdrie goal. He gets the rebound as well but this time his shot lacks power.

29 mins: A McKeown shot is deflected for a Thistle corner as The Jags start to take a grip of the game for the first time.

26 mins: Free kick for Thistle 25 yards from goal. Donnelly looks set to take it and GOAL THISTLE. Donnelly finds the corner of the net.

25 mins: An excellent Corcoran cross produces a Thistle corner.

21 mins: Steve Lovell chests the ball into the path of Simon Donnelly but his shot is too high.

19 mins: Paul Paton delivered a free kick into the box. Corcoran was able to head down but Stephen McKeown couldn't keep his shot down. Thistle's first effort on the Airdrie goal.

16 mins: A lovely turn from Waddell at the edge of the Thistle box but this time his shot is straight at Tuffey.

10 mins: The response to the loss of such an early goal has been good but there have been no clear openings for Thistle either. With hardly a sound being made from either set of supporters there is something of a surreal atmosphere at the game.

8 mins: Corcoran takes a tumble in the Airdrie box and there are half hearted appeals for a penalty.

6 mins: Rowson bursts into the Airdrie box but his cross come shot is cleared.

4 mins: A hint of a chance for Thistle. Robertson doesn't get hold of a cross but the loose ball bounces off Jamie Adams before he can direct the ball towards goal.

1 mins: GOAL AIRDRIE. Nightmare start for Thistle. A shot from the edge of the box from John Baird strikes the inside of the post and enters the net.

0 mins: Thistle are wearing their away kit for this match but it is Airdrie that kick the game off.

PRE-MATCH NEWS: Ian McCall has made one change from this side that lost 2-0 to Dundee. After an absence of two games Paul Paton returns at right back with John Robertson dropping to the bench where he replaces Martyn Corrigan. Thistle are otherwise unchanged on a cold afternoon in Airdrie. There is a little mist around but visibility is ecxcellent.
