It was a share of the points that suited neither team at Firhill. Queens though would be the happier side having twice come from behind.
Paul Paton opened the scoring after 20 minutes a lead that Thistle held at the break.
Queens equalised through Quinn in the 56th minute but the lead was restored six minutes later when Adams crashed home after Lovell had seen his penalty saved.
Queens though scored a second equaliser after 79 minutes through Harris.
