Only the 19s and 14s were in action yesterday, as a late call off put pay to the 16s trip to Dumfries to face Queen of the South.

First up, the 19s entertained Dundee at Beith Juniors.  Smart Osalador, only just signing on an amateur form this week, opened the scoring with only nine minutes gone.  Shaun Fraser doubled the scoring six minutes later.  Kieran Burns then added to the goals when one-on-one with the keeper, there was only going to be one winner.  Shaun Fraser then added to his tally to complete the scoring.

Team:  Scully, McGeough, Baxter, Stevenson, McDermott, Campbell, Bannigan, MacBeth, Fraser(Tully), Burns(Sweeney), Osalador (Dunbar).  Subs unused:  Shepherd GK, Hodge

Ian Cameron spoke to www.ptfc.co.uk after the game:  "After last week's great win at Montrose it was important to build on that and the boys certainly did today.  Beith is a very good surface and it makes a difference to play on grass.  The boys were fantastic and showed great fight and support to each other.  Complacency could have set in after going four up but the defence did very well".

Meanwhile, the 14s who hosted Queen of the South at Petershill ran out 7-2 winners, goals coming from Kieren Bell, James Lamont, Mark Johnstone, Paul Murphy, Jordan Leyden and a double from Adam Stevenson.
