 Doolan Loan Deal Completed

Friday 5th February 2010

Manager Ian McCall hinted at the tail end of last week that striker Kris Doolan was set to head out on loan.

Today we can confirm that the paperwork has been completed on a deal that will see Kris join Second Division Clyde on a 28 day long loan.

Clyde, who are presently skippered by another Firhill loanee Willie Kinniburgh, have home matches with Stenhousemuir and Stirling Albion and away fixtures with Arbroath and Dumbarton during Kris' loan stay. It is felt that Kris, who remains an important part of the manager's long term plans and signed a contract extension earlier this season, will benefit from regular first team football as opposed to infrequent reserve matches and the occasional substitute appearance.

Will wish Kris well during his loan spell at Broadwood and look forward to welcoming him back into the fold at Firhill at the end of his loan deal.
