Thistle were dealt a cruel blow at Inverness this afternoon. A penalty two minutes from time robbing a hard working Thistle side of the point that they at least deserved.

Mark Corcoran had given Thistle a 16^th minute lead only for Jonny Hayes to equalise in the 38^th minute.

In the 67^th minute Jonny Tuffey saved a Rooney penalty after a Hodge foul on the same player but he couldn't repeat that in the 88^th minute when Ian Maxwell was sent off for his challenge on Rooney.
