It was an afternoon best forgotten as Dunfermline ran out emphatic 4-1 victors at Firhill this afternoon.
After a goalless first half half-time sub Joe Cardle did the bulk of the damaged with an excellent hat-trick. Calum Woods heaping further misery upon Thistle with a fourth goal.
Liam Buchanan did get Thistle on the score sheet with a goal in the 86th minute but by then the game had long since been lost.
