It was a strange afternoon at Broadwood as Thistle somehow managed to lose a game that should have been out of sight at half-time.
Thistle almost completely dominated the first 45 minutes but only had one goal to show for that dominance. That goal arrived just a minute from the break. Liam Buchanan set up Kris Doolan who netted with a low drive into the corner of the goal.
Clyde though were level ten minutes into the second half in bizarre circumstances. Craig Hinchcliffe looked to be fouled but when no whistle followed Sawyers rolled the ball into the empty net.
Five minutes later they were in front when two trialists combined the latter of the pair shooting confidently past Hinchcliffe.
