Partick Thistle Football Club

This evening the Thistle under 19 side played their third pre-season fixture. After games with Beith Juniors and Rutherglen Glencairn at the weekend this evening the young Jags made the trip down to the seaside to face Largs Thistle.

Ultimately the Stagecoach Super League Premier Division side proved to be just a little too strong for the young Thistle eleven with the home side running out 2-0 winners. It was, however, a more than useful exercise for Thistle with Kyle Lochhead, one of the six new Modern Apprentice recruits, producing a good performance in defence for Thistle.
