Jonny to Face the World Champions

Partick Thistle were delighted and proud to learn that goalkeeper Jonny Tuffey is due to win his second full international cap for Northern Ireland later today in their friendly international against Italy.
In November last year Jonny became the 28th player, and 6th goalkeeper, to represent their country while a Partick Thistle player when he featured in the second half of Northern Ireland's friendly match with Hungary at Windsor Park.
Later this evening though Jonny, who has played 90 times in the Thistle first team, will go one better and will make his first start for his country.
Those interested in how Jonny fares against the World Champions can catch live coverage of the match in Pisa on BBC 3 this evening. The programme starts at 7:30pm with kick-off at 7:50pm.
