Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice

This Wednesday, 3rd June, Bellahouston Park will be filled with primary 6 and 7 pupils from schools around Glasgow to take part in the annual "Go Yellow" 5K Sponsored Walk in aid of the Hospice.
June is National Go Yellow Month for the Hospice Movement when they try to raise awareness and promote the vital role of the Hospice within our Community and the wide range of services that they provide. The Go Yellow 5K Walk, supported by Glasgow City Council, helps educate children on the crucial work the Hospice does whilst also providing a challenge for them to raise funds for The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice. Last year, it was also an excellent end-of-term opportunity for schools across Glasgow to get together and have a fun day out. Once everyone has completed the sponsored 5k walk there will be loads of surprises, entertainment and sporting activities.
The children will be encouraged to sign up family and friends to sponsor them for their walk round Bellahouston Park. If you are interested in taking part in the Go Yellow 5K Walk, please contact community fundraisers, Joyce or Maisie at the Hospice now!
