It was a welcome return to winning ways for Thistle this evening. There was a touch of good fortune surrounding Thistle's opening goal. Liam Buchanan's shot being fumbled over the line by Dunfermline keeper Greg Fleming.
Buchanan's goal was cancelled out by Steven McDougall but Simon Donnelly popped up with 9 minutes to seal the points with a stunning drive from the edge of the box.
