90 mins: Into injury time now.

82 mins: Big shout for handball as a Buchanan shot is blocked but all Thistle get is a corner.

81 mins: Liam Buchanan does well to get the ball into the Inverness six yard box but there are no Thistle takers.

79 mins: Inverness corner as things start to go a bit flat. Thistle need a lift.

77 mins: Inverness corner.

73 mins: Paton's cross is turned behind for a Thistle corner. Donnelly's corner is headed clear.

Crowd: 2,380

53 mins: Half a chance for Mark Corcoran but he sends his shot wide of goal.

52 mins: Magnificent Tuffey save to deny Hayes from point blank range.

51 mins: Paul Paton's cross is knocked down for Liam Buchanan who turns before sending the ball wide of goal.

48 mins: promising for Thistle. Chris Erskine knocks the ball through to Liam Buchanan who is just too straight with his hot and Esson saves.

Back under way at Firhill.

Thistle will start the second half with two changes made. Paul Cairney and Ryan Conroy have been replaced by Mark Corcoran and Chris Erskine.

It's impossible to argue that Inverness aren't value for their first half lead.

HALF-TIME

45 mins: Into first half injury time.

36 mins: Inverness corner. Great chance for Tokely at the edge of the six yard box but he sends his shot high over the bar.

32 mins: GOAL INVERNESS. It has been coming for some time. This time Tuffey can't save Thistle as Rooney heads home from the six yard box.

31 mins: And Tuffey to the rescue once more with a fine block from a Rooney shot.

30 mins: Paul Paton is short with a pass back and Tuffey needs to be sharp to clear.

29 mins: With Rooney closing in on goal McKeown's perfectly times tackle halts the danger.

25 mins: Simon Donnellys ets up Liam Buchanan who tests Esson at his near post with a well struck shot.

23 mins: Rooney's cut back finds Hayes but his shot is blocked and Inverness have a corner than Foran heads tamely over the bar.

20 mins Jonny Hayes shoots from the edge of the box but although powerfully hit the shot is always drifting away from goal. Still, Inverness are increasing the pressure they are putting the Thistle goal under.

18 mins: Another excellent save from Tuffey again from Foranney. When the corner comes in Tuffey makes another excellent block from Foran.

17 mins: You will not see many better saves than this. Proctor crosses for Foran and his net bound shot is tipped onto the bar by Jonny Tuffey.

11 mins: Inverness corner. Hayes takes it on the left but Maxwell clears.

8 mins: Foran gets ahead of the Thistle defence but Alan Archibald forced him away from goal and when Foran does shot Tuffey is well placed to save.

5 mins: Alan Archibald puts the ball behind and Inverness have a corner. That breaks loose as well before Thistle clear.

3 mins: Liam Buchanan earns Thistle a corner kick. Conroy's corner bounces loose for a second before it is cleared. Promising start from Thistle.

0 mins: Thistle kick the game off and are shooting towards the City End in the first half.
