Thistle's poor away record continued. A 54th minute goal from Stewart Kean was enough to condemn Thistle to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Queen of the South.
The home side had been the better team up to that point but Thistle almost laid siege to the Queens goal in the remaining 30 minutes or so. The closest to a Thistle equaliser being a Martyn Corrigan shot that smacked off the bar with the game deep into injury time.
