Last weekend the Thistle under 19 side enjoyed two comfortable victories, scoring no fewer than 12 goals into the bargain. This weekend they played just the one fixture but they were again in excellent goal scoring form.
On Friday night Queen of the South provided the opposition in their latest league fixture with Thistle running out winners by five goals to two.
After two hat-tricks last weekend, scored by Shaun Fraser and Jamie Campbell, we had another hat-trick hero on Friday night.
Kieran Burns was the man this time to score three times which takes his tally for the season for the under 19 to an impressive 15. That tally of fifteen goals from the 17 year old, he turns 18 later this month, includes no fewer than three hat-tricks. His treble against Queen of the South coming after hitting hat-tricks against Annan Athletic and Ayr United earlier this season. All this after injury meant that his season didn't get started until October.
Thistle's other two goals on Friday night were scored by Scott Hodge and Scott Tully.
Meantime the Thistle under 14 side were in action against Elgin City at Petershill Park a little earlier today and they too were among the goals running out emphatic 8-0 winners.
