Clyde Friendly Cancelled

The draws for both the ALBA Challenge Cup and Co-Operative Insurance Cups have, in a way, been a little unkind to Thistle.
Being drawn at home to Clyde in the ALBA Challenge Cup has understandably meant that our friendly against the same opposition at Broadwood, just 7 days prior to the cup-tie, has been cancelled.
We had hoped to bring news of alternative opposition for that date but an away tie against Annan Athletic in the Co-Operative Insurance Cup has put paid to thoughts of participating in the Annan tournament the weekend of Saturday July 17th.
Manager Ian McCall is, however, working on fixing up opposition for July 17th and we may have news on that front in the early part of next week.
