A couple of Thistle's youth teams were in action yesterday evening.
Although it was officially billed as a Reserve League Cup tie at Stirling University a Thistle under 19 side defeated East Stirling 1-0. The winning goal coming courtesy of Shaun Fraser.
There were strong performances from a number of players who had featured in the SFL Youth Cup Final against Livingston a few days earlier with Colin Stevenson, Ross McGeough, Scott Tully and second half substitute, Jonathon Baxter all in fine form.
Meantime the Thistle under 14 side were involved in a high scoring match with Clyde. The young Jags just edging victory by four goals to three.
