70 mins: Morton are pushing forward but they are leaving gaps at the back while they do so. A chance for Lovell's pace to exploit that perhaps?

55 mins: GOAL THISTLE. Buchanan the creator this time squaring the ball to Simon Donnelly who is left with a simple finish.

Morton have been the better team in the first half with Thistle only very rarely posing a threat to the Morton goal. At the other end Jonny Tuffey has had to make a couple of good stops. The second half will need to be better from Thistle.

36 mins: Thistle should score. Stewart can't take a cross and the ball falls to Donnelly whose effort is headed off the line. when the corner comes in Ian Maxwell heads wide.

34 mins: Ian Maxwell gives away a needless corner. but Tuffey punches it clear.

32 mins: Thistle corner. Hodge takes but Morton clear.

31 mins: Thistle's first chance. Donnelly flicks the ball through to Liam Buchanan who flashes a shot wide of the far post.

27 mins: Tuffey comes a long way not to collect a corner and it takes an age for Thistle to finally clear the ball.

27 mins: This time Jonny Tuffey denies Wake as Morton start to mount some pressure.

26 mins: A Brian Wake run goes unchecked and it takes a great clearance from John Robertson inside the box to clear the ball.
