Chic Charnley officially launched his new book today “Seeing Red” at Firhill (pictured below). The Thistle Legend ,whose book is on sale at all good bookstores and Greaves Sports has been overwhelmed and delighted at the response the book has got. Chic said “Everybody has been really supportive and positive about the book. I am delighted to have my official launch here at Firhill as Partick Thistle has always been great to me and I love the club. Alex Gordon wrote the book and I would like to thank him for everything he has done”
Chic spent two hours in Firhill today doing interviews and photos for the media. The interest for this book has been amazing and Chic doesn’t take any of it for granted he said “Everybody has been asking me about the book and I’ve been very open and like to think that’s the kind of person I am. I’ve had a great footballing life and wanted to share it with the people. The fans have been great with all my clubs but especially the Thistle fans. The club and fans will always have a huge part in my heart.”
We can also confirm Chic will be doing a book signing at Firhill before the next home match against Inverness on 28th November. Details will be posted on www.ptfc.co.uk nearer that match.
