Partick Thistle Football Club

 Salute the Team

Thursday 29th October 2009

As everybody has seen we now have had a team that has shown commitment above and beyond the call of duty, for example the win at Inverness whilst half the team were ill, beating Airdrie when the majority of the squad had only had two days training, and coming back twice against league leaders Ross County on Saturday.

The First Division is the most competitive league in the Country. There is no quarter given and we are in there fighting every week.

On Saturday we welcome Raith Rovers to Fortress Firhill. To salute the boys we are having a Colours With Pride Day. Banners, scarves and flags are compulsory.

As the Teams run out we will play “Follow Thistle” and a sea of Red and Yellow will send a clear message to our team that we are 100% behind them.

Don’t forget you receive a Hat & Scarf with your Young Thistle Membership and we will have staff selling them at the entrance to the Kids Zone (Section 7) on Saturday before the game and at half time.
