Firhill's birthday celebrations were rounded off in the perfect fashion with a comfortable and deserved 2-0 win against Dunfermline Athletic.
Thistle took the lead in the 38th minute. Austin McCann was short with a pass back
which Paul Cairney was able to collect before taking the ball round Fleming and sliding the ball into the back of the net (pictured).
Dunfermline twice came close to equalising. Once before half time when Kirk struck the bar and once after the break when Tuffey did well to touch a Burke shot over the bar.
Thistle though remained the better team and sealed the points in the 69th minute. Corcoran set up Paul Cairney and when Cairney's shot was saved by Fleming, Simon Donnelly was on hand to nod the ball home for his 4th goal of the season.
