Saturday's Programme
Wednesday 16th September 2009
Things are really starting to gear up ahead of Firhill's 100th birthday celebrations this coming Saturday.
To help mark the occasion a special programme has been produced.

In addition to the normal 40 pages Saturday's programme will include a 16 page supplement that takes a look back at 100 years of life at Firhill.
Interspersed with the personal memories of some Thistle fans this supplement , with reference to contemporary sources, takes a look at some of the key moments in the history of Firhill and Partick Thistle and includes:
- A look at Thistle's home grounds prior to moving to Firhill.
- Firhill abortive opening and the first game v Dumbarton Harp.
- Thistle's record attendance.
- The opening of a new stand in 1927.
- Firhill's Full International and another record crowd.
- A record Thistle win.
- The Firhill Floodlight switch on.
- European Nights at Firhill.
To offset printing costs there is, for this programme only, a price increase and Saturday's programme carries a cover price of £3.50.
With 56 pages though we are confident that this programme represents value for money and that the special supplement provides an interesting look back at a century of football at Firhill.
