Watch our 100th birthday in style

Monday 14th September 2009

Almost exactly 100 years to the day, September 18th 1909 to be precise, Firhill opened its doors for the very first time. That afternoon Thistle defeated Dumbarton Harp by three goals to one and a repeat of that score line when Dunfermline Athletic visit Firhill 100 years on would be very nice indeed.

There are a whole host of events planned to celebrate the 100th birthday of Firhill stadium.

Running from 11am to 2pm there will be a number of events, aimed primarily at families, taking place in the car park outside the Jackie Husband Stand.

With the whole day set to be a memorable one there is also no better occasion to sample Thistle's renowned Corporate Hospitality package.

Prices are only £85 per person plus VAT and the day includes a champagne reception, formal welcome from Club Director, optional tour of stadium and "board room banter" with our very own Robert Reid, Four course lunch served in the Alan Rough Lounge overlooking the pitch including wine, Programme, team sheet and news first hand from Gerry Britton, a seat in our Executive Box, half time tea and snacks then Full Time Man of Match presentation.

Support the Jags in class and style for our birthday!
