And Round the Cup They are Red and Yellow Ribbons
Wednesday 11th August 2010
It’s been a long time coming, nearly 40 years in fact, but we have at long last some new silverware on display in the Firhill Trophy Cabinet.
In May, and for the first time since 1971, a Partick Thistle side won a national cup competition when our under 19 squad triumphed over the much fancied Livingston in the SFL Youth Cup Final.
At 2.50pm this Saturday that trophy will come out of the Firhill Trophy Cabinet as our Champions (pictured below) get the opportunity to parade the trophy in front of the Jackie Husband Stand.
A new season of league football at Firhill beckons. What better way to start it all off than by cheering our Champions.
Adults £17.00 ,Concessions £12.00 and KIDS GO FREE.
