74 mins: That looked like an equaliser. Martin Grehan headed the ball onto Liam Buchanan and his volley was heading for the net only for Hay to get his foot to the ball.

42 mins: Thistle break quickly down the right through Liam Buchanan. Buchanan squares to paddy Boyle whsoe shot is touched over the bar for a corner that Cowdenbeath manage to clear without too much difficulty.

36 mins: Thistle have another corner. They've all be from the right so far. Headed clear and Cowdenbeath come away with the ball. The final pass is poor but Cowdenbeath have looked a threat on the counter attack.

Bryan Hodge and Conrad Balatoni drop to the bench while John Robertson misses out of the 16 altogether.
