90 mins+: Dundee have a free kick wide on the left. Harkins takes it. A touch from Maxwell gives Dundee a corner. Thistle come clear with the ball and Gary Harkins is booked for a foul on Martin Grehan. Please let this game end.

89 mins: Man of the Match confirmed as Paddy Boyle.

84 mins: Shimmin is booked for a challenge that leaves Paul Paton in a heap on the ground.

82 mins: Before play restarts Simon Donnelly comes on for Liam Buchanan.

82 mins: A quick Thistle counter attack is halted by a raised flag for offside as Paul Cairney squares the ball to Paddy Boyle.

81 mins: Great block from Ian Maxwell to deny Jamie Adams.

76 mins: Nearly a second for Thistle. Buchanan does well to get the ball cross to Grehan but his effort is blocked by McKeown.

74 mins: Dundee corner. Forsyth takes it but Halliwell gets a good punch to it.

73 mins: Martin Grehan climbs above the Dundee defence to connect with a Paul Paton cross but can't keep his header down.

71 mins: GOAL THISTLE. Martin Grehan's back post cross finds the head of Paddy Boyle and his header drops into the far corner of the net.

68 mins: Best chance of the game so far and it comes Thistle's way. The ball finds its' way through to Liam Buchanan but with Douglas left to beat he snatches at the chances and it goes wide.

66 mins: Second half isn't hitting the same heights as the first. Always interesting though.

57 mins: Paul Cairney isn't that far off target with an effort from fully 30 yards out.

50 mins: Thistle inches away from a goal. A fine Paul Cairney pass picks out Martin Grehan and his shot from the left side of the box goes just wide of the opposite post.

Dundee restart the game. No changes from either side.

HALF-TIME

45 mins: Paddy Boyle collects a yellow card and Dundee are going to finish the half with a free kick in a dangerous position. Bryn Halliwell needs two attempts to safely grab Griffiths' free kick.

43 mins: Stephen O'Donnell is booked for a late challenge on Paddy Boyle.

40 mins: John Robertson's headed clearance loops over the bar and it is a Dundee corner on the right and Thistle are forced to concede another when Forsyth takes it. This one is flicked on and McKeown's header almost runs across the top of the bar.

38 mins: A dangerous looking Rowson cross is taken almost off the head of Liam Buchanan by a Dundee defender.

34 mins: Nasty foul on Flannigan at the corner of the Dundee box. Grant escapes a booking though. The free kick is worked to Paddy Boyle whose fierce shot is well saved, and geld, by Douglas.

30 mins: Dundee have a free kick about 6 yards outside the Thistle and directly in front of goal. Gary Harkins' effort is poor and strikes the wall. Dundee manage to keep the pressure on, however, until Harkins lashes a shot high over the bar.

26 mins: An excellent challenge from Balatoni halts Griffiths' progress towards the Thistle goal and a break off the ball means a Thistle goal kick.

25 mins: A Paddy Boyle cross drops just behind Liam Buchanan as Thistle try and keep the pressure on.

23 mins: Encouraging again for Thistle. Paul Cairney does well and and pushes a pass into the path of Liam Buchanan who from the edge of the box shoots wide.

22 mins: Better from Thistle and warm applause from the Thistle fans as Cairney and Buchanan set up Grehan whose shot is too high.

20 mins: Thistle nearly caught on the break. McMenamin squares for Griffiths who is denied by a fine save by Halliwell. Even then the ball squirms away from the Thistle keeper before the danger is cleared.

19 mins: Flannigan and Boyle combine well down the left and Thistle have their first corner. Flannigan takes it but it is headed clear.

14 mins: David Rowson is booked and Dundee have a free kick 30 yards or so from goal. Leigh Griffiths' effort is on target but it is an easy save for Halliwell.

10 mins: Iain Flannigan works himself into a decent position and his shot from the edge of the box is a foot or so wide. It's a game that looks as if it might provide plenty of goals.

8 mins: Confusion at the back causing Halliwell to rush to kick clear.

5 mins: Dundee have the game's first corner after McMenamin's shot is deflected but it comes to nothing. It has been a hectic, frantic opening 5 minutes. In Robertson, Balatoni and Maxwell Thistle are deploying three players in the centre of defence.  

1 mins: Nearly a great start for Thistle. Iain Flannigan whips in a free kick deep into the Dundee box and two Thistle players are a whisker away from connecting with it.

0 mins: Thistle kick the game off and are shooting towards the south end in the first half.

The under 19 SFL Youth Cup winning side have just been presented to the Thistle fans. Nice to see the Dundee fans give them a clap as well.

PRE-MATCH NEWS: Ian McCall has made just one change to the side that played Berwick Rangers on Tuesday night although it is likely to result in a change of formation. Player-Assistant Manager, Ian Maxwell makes his first competitive appearance of the season as Simon Donnelly drops to the bench.
