Partick Thistle Under 13s - Stars of the Future

Over the summer we have hard much about the rich vein of talent that the Club currently has at under 19 level.
Last night, however, the focus was firmly on our under 13 side, the youngest age group we will be running a team at next season.
Training for the under 13s will start on August 3rd but last night at Firhill there was a get together to formally welcome to the Club what we hope will be a collection of stars of the future.
Said Head of Youth Development Gerry Britton;
“The boys and their parents were there along with the coaches, first aider, all our scouts and Club Vice Chair Tom Hughes. It was really an opportunity to introduce them to the club ahead of their training starting.”
“Our aim with the youth development system is to have boys with the club from as early an age as possible and our scouts have done a great job in sourcing boys that we hope will have a future in the game. We aim to build on the four teams we are currently running year after year with quality staff and players to boot.”
