90 mins+: Rowson booked for a foul on the edge of his own box. The free kick goes high over the bar. Only seconds left.

90 mins: The 90 minutes have come and gone. Into injury time.

82 mins: A Chris Erskine shot is defelcted over the bar and Thistle have a corner. It's a short corner which is cleared.

81 mins: Thistle not looking like scoring at the moment.

75 mins: Halliwell saves from Taggart.

74 mins: GOAL STIRLING. Thistle are caught on the break and Smith thumps the ball home.

72 mins: Martin Grehan coms on for Kris Doolan.

71 mins: It takes a great block to prevent Brown from squaring the ball for what would have looked a certain goal. Stirling have a corner which Thistle clear.

66 mins: Game really opening up now and Halliwell does well to deny Heekeng as Stirling pose a threat on the break.

65 mins: Chris Erskine squares the ball to Paul Cairney and his shot strikes the base of the post.

61 mins: Nice move from Thistle. Paul Cairney pushes the ball into the path of Simon Donnelly to his left and Donnelly's shot is well saved by Reidford.

60 mins: Good block from McNamara and Stirling have a corner which comes to nothing.

54 mins: GOAL STIRLING. Halliwell keeps out Chris Aitken's shot but the ball breaks free and Andy Gibson tucks the ball home from a couple of yards out.

50 mins: It's been much better from Thistle at the start of the second half and Chris Erskine sends a shot over the bar.

49 mins: GOAL THISTLE. Paul Cairney's shot is saved but not held by Reidford and Kris Doolan is left with an easy chance to score.

47 mins: Stirling eventually manage to clear the ball after a scramble inside the box. The break of the ball not going Thistle's way.

Chris Erskine and Simon Donnelly half-time changes for Liam Buchanan and Conrad Balatoni.

It's not been great by any stretch of the imagination. Thistle have had the lion's share of the ball but have done little with it. The best chance a Bannigan shot well saved by Reidford.

HALF-TIME

45 mins+: Jackie McNamara cuts inside but Reidford is well placed to save his shot.

45 mins: Into first half injury time. Shouldn't be too much of that.

43 mins: Paul Cairney shoots from the edge of the box but his shot trickles to Reidford.

39 mins: A shot at goal. Kris Doolan touches the ball to Stuart Bannigan but Reidford gets down well to save.

38 mins: Thistle corner. On the right this time. Paton to take it and it is cleared.

36 mins: Thistle's passing has been, well, poor.

33 mins: A bit better and Paul Cairney's cut back looks promising but neither Doolan or Buchanan can provide a finish.

32 mins: The Thistle fans starting to get restless over the home side's failure to create much.

31 mins: Liam Buchanan wins Thistle a corner on the left. Paton again to take it . A better corner this time but referee Salmond spots a foul.

27 mins: This game badly needs a goal.

23 mins: Ian Maxwell's turn to collect a yellow card.

19 mins: Ross Forsyth catches Paul Paton late and is booked.

17 mins: Thistle corner on the left hand side. Paton's corner is too deep though.

14 mins: Free kick to Stirling right on the edge of the Thistle box almost right on the goal line. The free kick goes right across the six yard box without a touch from anyone.

12 mins: Thistle have been the better side but there hasn't been many chances in front of either goal.

3 mins: Half a chance for Thistle but after David Rowson touches the ball to Paul Paton he can only scoop his shot over the bar.

0 mins: Stirling kick the game off. Thistle will be shooting towards the North Stand in the first half.

PRE-MATCH NEWS: Thistle have made two changes ahead of the visit of Stirling Albion. The injured John Robertson has been replaced by player-assistant manager Ian Maxwell while Paul Cairney returns at the expense of Bryan Hodge. After impressing against Ayr United, Stuart Bannigan keeps his place in the side. Included in the sixteen on duty for Stirling Albion are former Thistle players Martyn Corrigan, Andy Gibson and John Kane.
