SFA Youth Cup Second Round Draw

After receiving a bye in the First Round, Thistle have been drawn at home to Civil Service Strollers in the Second Round of this season’s SFA Youth Cup.
The teams met at the same stage of the competition in season 2007, although Thistle were on that occasion the away team, with Thistle running out 4-1 winners.
The tie is scheduled to take place on Sunday October 10th. More details to follow when available.

The winners of those ties will be joined by the following seeded teams, based on last season’s results, in Round Three:
Airdrie United, Brora Rangers, Celtic, Cowdenbeath, Dundee, Dundee United, Dunfermline Athletic,
Falkirk, Heart of Midlothian, Hibernian, Livingston, St Johnstone, St Mirren, Queens Park, Rangers and Ross County.
Thistle’s best performance in the SFA Youth Cup came in season 1991-1992 when after wins over Rangers, Dalbeattie Star, St Mirren and Brechin City, Thistle were defeated on penalties at the semi-final stage by Ayr United.
