Young Jag Nominated for Award
Wednesday 25th January 2012
Congratulations are extended to Aaron Sekhon on being nominated for the Young Player of the Year category in the very first Asian Football Awards.

The award ceremony took place last night at Wembley Stadium and Aaron found himself up against Jasbir Singh (Solihull Motors), Danny Batth (Wolves), Adil Nabi (West Brom) and Malvind Benning (Walsall).
Unfortunately Aaron was beaten to the award by Wolves’ Danny Batth who is presently enjoying a highly successful loan spell with Sheffield Wednesday but it still proved to be a memorable occasion for the young Jag, Aaron commenting on his twitter account;
“That was a good night, no silverware but a great night nevertheless, met some great people.”
Aaron, aged 17, joined Thistle last summer after coming through the youth set up at Falkirk and has been featuring regularly for the reserves and under 19 side this season.
